- Colonel Armand is the pseudonym of a Breton military officer, Charles Armand Tuffin, Marquis de la Rouerie, who served under the American flag in the American Revolution.I use his name to illustrate that the ideals of the Founding Fathers were so admired that citizens of other countries came to America to fight and die for the cause of Liberty. It's too bad that so many Americans today don't understand the value of Liberty and what so many have sacrificed for it.
